"I graduated from the Art Institute of Washington in 2007. I studied Media Arts & Animation, but my interest is in Illustration. I am also currently pursuing a modeling career.
Creativity has been a large part of my life pretty much since birth. My mother was creatively inclined so I guess those genes passed on through me. She studied fashion design before I was born, which is probably why I have an interest in the fashion industry.
I have always felt that my talents were given to me to do more than just provide personal gain. Being given a talent is almost like being a super hero (with great power comes great responsibility), but the journey isn’t always easy.
In both my pursuits (college & modeling), my start was never what I expected. During one of my first classes at AIW I felt I would never make it to graduation day let alone have the skills I needed to actually call myself an artist. With modeling, I was completely doubtful of my ability to perform well in front of the camera. Fear is a huge obstacle, but perseverance and help from your friends can enable you to overcome anything.
There is no better feeling than being fulfilled physically, mentally, and emotionally. I’m doing what I love and I’m sharing those experiences with the people I hold dear.
I am indeed creating my life."
